Air India is set to resume flights between Tel Aviv and Delhi, with five direct flights planned per week starting December 1.
What happened
The Indian flag carrier had previously stopped flights due to intermittent hiatuses, including one after a Houthi ballistic missile impacted Ben-Gurion Airport in May 2025.
Air India's return will be the only direct carrier operating between the two countries, reopening travel possibilities for Israeli and Indian travelers who had to rely on layover flights during its absence.
The airline will join US carriers Delta Air Lines and United Airlines as foreign long-haul carriers at Ben-Gurion Airport.
