I’m watching the 2026 midterms as a possible catalyst for political turmoil, economic upheaval and opportunities for America’s adversaries. I explain how those conditions could connect my warnings about Ukraine, wider war, a draft and national uprising.
TOC News | Prophetic perspective
In America’s 250th year, I am watching the midterm elections as a possible catalyst for events that could reach far beyond Washington. A political confrontation at home could unsettle the economy, weaken America’s ability to sustain commitments abroad and create openings that adversaries may try to exploit. That is the path I want to examine with you as I return to my October 2025 dream of a draft and national uprising and my April 2022 warning about financial distress and Russia’s advance.

Why I am focusing on the midterms
The Federal Election Commission lists November 3, 2026 as the federal general election date. My concern is what could follow if the election produces a prolonged political confrontation, uncertainty over the country’s direction or an inability to agree on urgent decisions. Domestic instability could affect confidence, spending decisions and America’s response to international threats. I am considering the midterms as a possible starting point for that sequence, rather than assigning an election date to the dream itself.
In the final scene of that dream, I saw Trump marching with millions behind him beneath a banner that read, “We will not stand accused.” The accusation was left open in what I recorded. A confrontation surrounding the election could provide a setting for a national movement like the one I saw. I am watching the possibility of political conflict spreading beyond the election result into protests, competing demands and a deeper struggle over the country’s direction.
How political upheaval could reach the economy and Ukraine
If a political crisis damages confidence or disrupts decisions about spending and national priorities, the effects could extend into markets and government finances. The IMF’s October 1 briefing already describes pressure from elevated energy costs and public debt. I am considering what additional political turmoil could do in that setting. Existing economic strain could make the country more vulnerable to a new shock, while disagreement at home could complicate commitments abroad.
This connects directly to the sequence in my April 15, 2022 vision. I saw the dollar fall, European economies weaken and Western military support for Ukraine become financially unsustainable. Russia then advanced as that support diminished. The midterms could matter to that warning through their consequences: if political upheaval compounds financial pressure, the ability or willingness to keep funding a prolonged war could weaken. That would create conditions more favorable to Russia’s position.
The opportunity adversaries might see
I am also considering how America’s adversaries might interpret a country absorbed in internal conflict. If they perceive divided leadership, uncertain funding or a delayed response, they may see an opportunity to apply pressure. Their perception could influence their decisions even while the United States retains considerable military strength. The concern I want you to understand is how domestic turmoil might encourage a foreign government to take a risk it would otherwise avoid.
NATO’s current guidance describes Iranian weapons and Chinese industrial support for Russia. Those existing relationships matter when considering what could happen if adversaries believe America’s attention and resources are stretched. New war fronts could emerge, or existing conflicts could expand, forcing Washington and its allies to respond to several demands at once. I am examining that as a possible consequence of perceived opportunity, with the political and economic situation at home helping create the conditions.
In my May 18, 2022 dream, published May 19, I saw Russian and Chinese troops together in a coastal city whose location I could not identify. That account is part of why I consider the possibility of wider conflict when I look at these alliances. An election crisis would not have to resemble the invasion scene to be relevant. It could help create a setting in which adversaries judge that a broader military move is possible.

Where the draft and Hegseth fit into that concern
In my October 21, 2025 dream, I stood inside a large processing center where uniforms and equipment were being issued. I understood that men and women were being drafted into World War III. I also heard a woman strike a service bell and call, “Order ready for Hegseth!” If additional war fronts opened and demands on the military grew, national mobilization could become a more urgent question. That is how I see the draft scene fitting into the wider sequence I am considering.
Stars and Stripes reported on October 2 that Hegseth ordered time for service members to vote and described his directive to defend the election against foreign interference. Those measures show his present responsibilities intersecting with the election. Selective Service currently reports no active draft, and a draft would require presidential and congressional authorization. I am watching how an expanding conflict could change those decisions, including the larger mobilization involving men and women that appeared in my recorded account.
The sequence I want you to watch with me
I am watching whether the election produces sustained political turmoil, whether that turmoil compounds economic strain, and whether financial or political pressures weaken support for Ukraine. I am watching how adversaries respond to perceived American weakness and whether new conflicts divide our attention further. From there, I would watch for broader mobilization and a national confrontation involving Trump. These developments could reinforce one another. The relevance of my economic warning and my dream of mobilization and protest lies in how those conditions could prepare the way for later events.
How I want us to respond
There was another part of the October 2025 dream that I want you to remember. I saw people distributing food, organizing blood drives and preparing canned supplies. While I consider the political and military possibilities, I also think about families and communities who would need help. Prayer, practical service and a willingness to care for others belong in our response to these warnings.
In Luke 21:9-11, Jesus speaks of wars, commotions and conflict among nations while directing His followers to resist terror. I want us to watch with that steadiness. In 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21, Paul joins respect for prophecy with examination and holding to what is good. I have linked the original accounts so you can read what I shared and consider these possibilities with me.
