A biker ride event was recently held to honor military service members and their families, while also raising awareness for a support ministry that assists military families facing financial hardship.
What happened
The event, called the Biker Resiliency Ride, was hosted by CBN's Helping the Home Front ministry and brought together riders and supporters for a 50-mile ride. The ministry has provided over $6 million in assistance to more than 65,000 military families since its launch 13 years ago.
The ride was followed by a family fun day, featuring activities and a free concert. The event aimed to honor the military and encourage others to partner with Helping the Home Front to support service members and their families.
According to the ministry's director, Mary Allsbrook, the event was an opportunity to raise awareness about the ministry's mission and the importance of supporting military families. Participants in the ride expressed their support for the ministry, with one rider saying it's a "wonderful program" that helps young military families.
The event highlighted the ministry's efforts to alleviate financial stress for military families, allowing them to focus on their service to the country. With its successful first annual Biker Resiliency Ride, Helping the Home Front continues to make a difference in the lives of military families.
