What happened
Harun Ibrahim, a former Muslim, has led over 100,000 people to Jesus Christ through his ministry, Al Hayat Ministries. Ibrahim was born in Israel to Arab-Muslim parents and later converted to Christianity after a chance encounter with a man who shared the Gospel with him.
Ibrahim's journey to Christianity began when he met a man who told him that no one can come to the Father except through Jesus. Although he initially resisted, Ibrahim eventually read the Gospel of John and accepted Jesus as his Savior. He then felt a strong desire to share the Gospel with Muslims and started Al Hayat Ministries in 2003.
Through his ministry, Ibrahim has reached millions of people with the Gospel, with over 100,000 accepting Christ. He believes that there is a hunger in the Muslim world to hear about Christ and that media, TV, and the internet can help fulfill the Great Commission. Ibrahim's approach is unique in that he speaks to Muslims in their own language and culture, making his programming more relatable and effective.
Despite the risks, many Muslims are finding the truth and accepting Christ. However, this can come with great cost, including rejection by family and potentially endangering their lives. Ibrahim encourages Christians who want to reach Muslims to start by praying for them, believing that God will guide them on what to do.
