Former US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has filed for divorce from her husband Byron after 31 years of marriage. The couple has three children together, daughters Kassidy and Kennedy, and son Booker, and several grandchildren.

The divorce filing comes six months after reports surfaced of Byron's alleged infatuation with sex workers and his participation in the "bimbofication" fetish community. According to reports, Byron sent thousands of dollars to women he met online, including one who received over $25,000 via Cash app and PayPal.
Byron's lawyer, Tim Bottum, released a statement saying that Byron is "saddened" by the end of the marriage and hopes for a private and amicable resolution. However, the statement also hinted that Byron may share his side of the story if court proceedings become necessary, saying he will "welcome the opportunity to truthfully share his perspective."
Kristi Noem has been rumored to be in a romantic relationship with former Trump campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski, who is married with four children. The two were spotted together as recently as last month, and Noem was fired from her position as Homeland Security Secretary in March after being grilled about her alleged relationship with Lewandowski during a congressional hearing.
