A shooting at a church in central Jordan has resulted in the deaths of seven people and injured at least 34 others. The incident occurred during a funeral service in the Karak governorate.
What happened
According to reports, the gunmen arrived at the church in a car and began shooting inside before fleeing the scene. The attack was described as heinous by government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani.
Security forces have been deployed to the area following the attack. The identities of the gunmen and their motives are currently unknown.
