Halle Berry's Custody Battle Intensifies as Son to Testify Amid Abuse Allegations
Daily Mail US

Halle Berry's 13-year-old son will be allowed to testify in the custody case amid abuse allegations against Berry, who denies the claims made by ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

What happened

Halle Berry's custody battle with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez has taken a dramatic turn. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ruled that the couple's 13-year-old son, Maceo, will be allowed to testify in the ongoing case over a restraining order.

Martinez, 60, had obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Berry, 60, after accusing her of physically abusing their son. Berry has denied all allegations, claiming she was enforcing boundaries and holding Maceo accountable for his own conduct.

The judge's ruling allows Maceo to provide his account of the incident, which allegedly occurred on September 26. Martinez's lawyer believes it is in Maceo's best interest to have his voice heard, while Berry's team argues that requiring Maceo to testify could harm his emotional well-being and relationships with both parents.
