Houthi rebels launched precision strikes on Saudi Arabia, targeting airports and oil facilities, killing 14 and injuring over 300, in retaliation for Saudi aggression in western Yemen.

The Houthi movement, backed by Iran, has carried out a series of precision strikes on Saudi Arabia, resulting in significant damage and loss of life.

What happened

The attacks, which included missile strikes, targeted airports and oil facilities in Riyadh and eastern Saudi Arabia, killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 300.

The Houthi military spokesman, Brig Gen Yahya Saree, claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that they were launched in retaliation for Saudi aggression against areas controlled by the Houthis in western Yemen.

Saudi Arabia's energy minister has vowed to respond to the attacks, which have highlighted the challenges faced by Saudi forces in combating the Houthi rebels' guerrilla tactics and precision strikes.
