A brigadier general advising the Houthi-run Defense Ministry stated that Iran's proxy network operates under a single command, with joint coordination and cooperation between Iran, Lebanon, and the Houthis.
The Houthis recently took control of Yemen's entire Red Sea coast, with Iranian aircraft carrying Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps advisers landing in Yemen to assist in the offensive.
Regional officials and a senior Houthi official reported that Iranian and Hezbollah advisers were present at all levels of the operation, providing tactical guidance and analyzing communications and satellite intelligence.

The withdrawal has raised concerns about the potential for increased Iranian influence in the region and the ability of the US to respond to threats from Iran's proxy network.
