The plane, which was carrying 180 people, including over 100 Israeli passengers, was diverted to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk after the incident.

According to reports, the pilots sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for medical care. The flight landed safely, and all passengers are accounted for. The incident is currently under investigation, with Israeli officials suspecting that it may have been a hijacking attempt.

A passenger on the flight reported hearing screams and seeing blood in the cockpit, and claimed that the co-pilot had attacked the pilot with a pocketknife. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has released a statement saying that the incident is under control and that measures are being taken to return the Israeli passengers safely to Israel.
