Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his government's commitment to removing the Iranian regime, describing it as a necessary step to prevent the production of nuclear bombs and the rebuilding of the Iran-backed terrorist axis.
What happened
Netanyahu made the comments at an event at Tel Hai University in Kiryat Shmona, where he stated that finishing the job means bringing down the terrorist regime in Iran. He emphasized that this is the primary objective and that he has discussed this with US President Donald Trump on multiple occasions.
The Israeli prime minister warned that the Iranian regime is so fanatical that it will try again to produce nuclear bombs and rebuild the axis, and that the only way to prevent this is to bring down the regime. He also noted that the elimination of Hezbollah, a Lebanese terrorist group backed by Iran, will follow the collapse of the Iranian regime.
Netanyahu's comments came after Trump endorsed him ahead of the upcoming Israeli elections, praising him as a great warrior prime minister and partner for peace in combating the Islamic Republic of Iran. The US president also warned that if Netanyahu doesn't win his reelection, the US will have to do the work itself.
