A newly released memo from the Department of War describes a mysterious triangular object spotted in the western United States, exhibiting advanced flying capabilities.
What happened
According to the memo, two federal law enforcement agents witnessed the craft on a clear evening, describing it as having a 13 to 15-foot wingspan and a 6 to 9-foot fuselage. The object made a slow, controlled vertical ascent, followed by a stable hover, and then rapidly transitioned into high-speed horizontal flight, maneuvering like a military fighter jet.
The agents reported that the craft was silent, with no observable propulsive apertures, rotating elements, or exhaust plumes. They also noted that the craft's thermal signature was spatially uniform, with no localized hot spots or engine heat signature.
The object's transition from hover to high-speed flight was rapid, with no observable acceleration ramp or momentum. The craft then executed a fluid banking turn and steep descent into a canyon, disappearing from view. A subsequent ground survey found no wreckage, vegetation damage, or ground scarring.
