Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned the country's enemies against launching attacks before the upcoming election on October 27th.
What happened
Netanyahu visited Israel's security barrier in Samaria, cautioning that the country is prepared for any scenario. His warnings were directed at both the Palestinian Authority and Iran. Defense Minister Israel Katz also issued a statement, saying that anyone who attacks Israel will face severe consequences.
In a related development, more than 50 Iran-linked suspects have been arrested in the UK over the past year, according to Britain's top domestic intelligence official. The UK has also foiled a plot against an air base used by American bombers, which was allegedly directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Meanwhile, President Trump has discussed renewed strikes against Iran with Netanyahu, although the Israeli Prime Minister's office has denied the report. Trump has also spoken out against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, saying they are behaving badly and threatening American interests.
