Iran War protesters interrupted Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's roundtable on Autonomous Warfare at the Association of the United States Army conference, calling him a war criminal.

Multiple protesters crashed a roundtable discussion on Autonomous Warfare at the Association of the United States Army conference, where Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was a panelist.

What happened

In a coordinated effort, six protesters took turns interrupting Hegseth's panel, with some being dragged out by security while yelling accusations of war crimes.

One protester called Hegseth a war criminal and a Nazi, while another criticized the US for spending money on the Iran War while children in America are starving.

The protesters were removed from the event, but not before extending the duration of their protest by taking turns interrupting the discussion.

The roundtable was part of the Association of the United States Army conference, an annual event that showcases munitions and weapons manufacturers worldwide.

Hegseth was at the conference to participate in a panel examining the future of autonomous warfare, including the Pentagon's efforts to develop and deploy drones and other unmanned military systems.
