A seventh individual has been taken into custody in connection with a significant incident that occurred last month at a British airbase. The airbase in question is used by the United States for launching strikes against Iran.
The latest arrest was made on Tuesday, with a 22-year-old British male being detained in London on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, according to Britain's Counter-Terrorism Policing network.
This development comes after six other men, all in their 20s, were previously arrested and released on bail following the stopping of three suspicious vans near the airbase in southwest England on September 27.
The arrest also follows a statement by President Donald Trump, who announced that the United States had withdrawn all B-1 bombers from the RAF Fairford airbase due to perceived threats linked to Tehran.
