What happened
According to Trump, the sites hit in the June 2025 operation were not only nuclear facilities but also drug factories. The president made this statement while campaigning for Republican candidates in Oklahoma. Trump said the targeted facilities were involved in both nuclear and drug production. He described the operation as a success, stating that the US military effectively destroyed the sites using B-2 stealth bombers.
The president provided some details about the operation, mentioning that the bombers unloaded every single bomb into the facilities, but did not elaborate on the types of drugs being produced. The claim comes as the US war with Iran continues, with indirect diplomatic talks between the two sides currently stalled.
