What happened
A total of five individuals have been arrested in connection with suspected preparations for a terrorist act at a UK military base. The base in question has been used by the US air force for strikes against Iran. Authorities have cited offenses under the Explosives Act as the reason for the arrests.
As a precautionary measure, approximately 85 homes in the nearby village of Whelford were evacuated. Additionally, three suspicious vehicles were examined by the authorities. This incident comes after bombers flew from the same base to conduct strikes against Iran earlier in the year.
