The British Army has deployed Nyan deep-strike drones in Estonia to enhance long-range strike capabilities. These drones have a range of over 250 kilometers and have been utilized in exercises and training in the region.

A British unit at Tapa has been equipped with Nyan attack drone systems, which are designed to complement existing fire support capabilities and provide additional options for engaging targets at long distances. The Nyan drones are made by defense company BAE Systems and are jet-powered with a 2.9-meter wingspan.

The British Army uses two Estonian-made launch systems for Nyan: the Ely PL80 and the Threod CATA BT. The deployment of Nyan in Estonia is intended to strengthen Britain's contribution to NATO deterrence and defense, allowing for better integration of the new capability with targeting, mission planning, and digital fire control systems.

The Nyan systems were brought to Estonia during this year's Exercise Spring Storm, which provided an opportunity to test the drones' integration into international division-level operations. The deployment is part of a broader effort to enhance defense cooperation between Estonia and the UK, following the signing of a defense cooperation action plan in Tallinn this July.
