A report has been released by US Attorney General Todd Blanche, detailing alleged government weaponization against school parents. The report exposes attempts by former US Attorney General Merrick Garland to prosecute parents for exercising their right to free speech.
What happened
The report, titled "Report to Expose the Weaponization of Government Against Parents in Schools," reveals that the Department of Justice, under Garland's direction, worked with White House officials and the National School Boards Association to chill free speech and parental rights. The National School Boards Association had labeled parents who criticized certain policies, such as transgender policy and critical race theory, as "domestic terrorists" and demanded their arrest and prosecution.
The report includes hundreds of exhibits and emails that verify the allegations, showing that the Garland DOJ attempted to get the National Security Division involved and ignored warnings from employees that their actions could be unconstitutional. The 273-page report, which includes 250 pages of exhibits and emails, confirms that Attorney General Merrick Garland worked with the Biden White House to target parents who spoke out against certain policies.
The National School Boards Association had reached out to the Biden regime to create talking points to push back against critics of these policies, and had sent a letter to President Biden describing parents who spoke out as participating in "domestic terrorism" and requesting their arrest, prosecution, and incarceration. The NSBA later apologized for the letter, acknowledging that there was no justification for the language used.
