Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic US Senate nominee from Michigan, shared his views on Israel and Iran in a recent interview.
What happened
El-Sayed was asked about his stance on whether Iran or Israel poses a greater threat to the US. He responded by using an analogy where a friend pokes a bear, causing danger, and stated that both the friend and the bear are responsible for the danger. He applied this analogy to Israel and Iran, suggesting that both countries' actions have contributed to a world with more war.
El-Sayed also expressed his opinion that Israel is not a true friend to the US, citing the country's actions and the financial support the US provides to Israel. He argued that an ally should not use another country's money to push them into wars they shouldn't be fighting.
When asked if he considers Israel an American ally, El-Sayed responded that a country that takes the US's money and pushes them into unnecessary wars is not a true friend. He emphasized the need for honesty and objectivity in assessing the US-Israel relationship.
