A memorial service for American victims of the October 7 attack has been postponed by the US State Department.
The event was initially scheduled for September 30, although it had not been officially announced by the department.
What happened
The decision to postpone the memorial was made on Tuesday morning, according to sources within the department and others familiar with its plans.
The reason for the postponement is currently unclear.
