Jones also criticized El-Sayed's own statements, including his claim that the US cannot have good education because it funds the Iron Dome, a defense system for Israel. Jones described this statement as 'nuts'.
El-Sayed's campaign has distanced itself from the ad, but Jones argued that this is not enough, saying that El-Sayed should denounce the ad immediately.
