What if this was God’s doing because when the churches had a chance they took the 501(c3) money and prospered while fires got put out, they prospered while babies were being aborted, they prospered while millions became homeless, they prospered while electing the most horrendous leaders? What if Governor Newsom is Israel’s Assyria or Babylon? What if the message to the church isn’t fight for “what you have” but as Jesus said “those who lose their life for my sake will gain it”? Are you willing to let the nation go but yet still serve the mighty God who raises up or tares down nations?
Perhaps the ones God is looking for are the ones who, as the Bible has called them, aliens or foreigners.
As Jesus said to the one who wanted to be his disciple and follow Him “Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
If the church wants the true fire of God-they must be like Jesus who didn’t even have a single pillow to lay his head down on.
Jesus is looking for the ones who have both feet out of this world and have nothing to loose!
Would the body of Christ rather the fire consume it all by force or would we rather willingly choose to leave it all?
There is a great call on the church that will move the church out of its walls, away from its 501(c3)‘s where no money can buy, no power can influence, no position can persuade, nor by constitution or nation as it is written:
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Which battle will we fight? From whom will we fight for? Israel fought for Canaan and Jerusalem-Gods inheritance, but doesn’t it say we are the bride of Christ-His reward?
It’s coming. It most certainly is at our doorstep. Rather a nation or not, rather in tyranny or prosperity, as Paul said “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
If the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church, if it is by our testimony we have prevailed, if-as Peter prophesied-the world to be destroyed by fire, if everything here is temporary-than why are we swimming up stream and why are we trying to fight against an ordained current when we already have everything that we need in Him?
The call isn’t to fight back, the call is to fight the good fight of faith, to run the race, isn't the purpose of tribulation to build faith for the producing of endurance, patience, gentleness, kindness, hope, selflessness? The call is to STAY FOCUSED.
