California’s disappearing beaches have brought me back to a warning I published in 2019 concerning New York. Homes are being undermined, sand is being stripped from familiar stretches of coast, and the coming winter could place additional pressure on shorelines already damaged. I believe these developments deserve national attention because shoreline erosion was the final sign I identified in that warning.
In my September 25 video, I explained why I see the convergence of coastal destruction, a strengthening El Niño, Kelvin waves, and approaching king tides as an affirmation of the word I received. My concern reaches beyond California. I believe America is being given an opportunity to recognize a warning before the judgment I have warned about reaches New York.
The public record begins with my original March 11, 2019 publication, “Prophetic Warning: Judgement Coming.” Read that account alongside the developments below. The original words matter.
The warning before the present crisis
As I recounted in the video, I received the warning on January 22, 2019, in connection with New York’s Reproductive Health Act, and published it on March 11. The account addressed the people’s responsibility for their leaders, the failure to care for those in need, a departure from the city, and a sign along the shores.
I understand its progression through 4 signs:
- Timing and COVID: the beginning of the warning’s manifestation within 1 year, with the pandemic declaration falling on the publication’s exact anniversary.
- Leadership: the people’s choice of leadership connected to their unmet needs, which I relate to the rise of Zohran Mamdani and his socialist political vision.
- Departure: people leaving New York, first visible during the pandemic and later becoming a renewed concern surrounding the city’s political direction.
- Shoreline erosion: the removal of sand and the threat to foundations, which I believe is now taking on greater urgency.
COVID belongs within the timing sign. That keeps the 4 signs consistent with the explanation I gave in the video.
Sign 1: The anniversary and the pandemic
The original publication records that, when I asked about the timing, I was directed to Genesis 18:10 and understood the answer as “within one year.” In its biblical context, that verse concerns the promised birth of Sarah’s son. The narrative then moves toward the Lord’s disclosure concerning Sodom. My application of that passage to the warning belongs to the testimony I published.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization characterized COVID as a pandemic. Its dated announcement places that event exactly 1 calendar year after the publication. This is the clearest anniversary connection in the record, and I regard it as significant to the timing I was given.
One date in my video needs correction: the CDC announced the first confirmed United States case on January 21, 2020, in Washington state. January 22 should therefore be removed from that specific comparison. The March 11 anniversary remains intact.
Sign 2: Leadership and the needs of the people
The warning confronted the relationship between the people and the leaders they choose. It also confronted the failure of those who profess faith to serve their neighbors. Its language joined political responsibility with neglected human need:
“Had you fed and clothed your neighbors, had you prayed and loved your enemies, had you taken care of your homeless and orphans, had you loved them as I have loved you, they would not have looked to another reward but would have found shelter and refuge in my kingdom.”
This is the passage I connect to Mamdani’s rise. I believe his socialist vision reflects the leadership warning I described in the video. The original publication used the language of leaders, responsibility, and provision; my identification of Mamdani is the application I am making to that earlier word.
The connection to everyday needs is visible in his administration’s own announcements. On July 27, 2026, the mayor’s office described a municipal grocery plan offering a 30% discount on essential foods. Housing and affordability also occupy a central place in the administration’s stated agenda.
My concern begins with the spiritual condition described in the warning. A church that speaks about loving its neighbor must also feed, clothe, pray, and serve. The passage calls believers to examine their own obedience while considering the direction of the city.
Sign 3: Departure from New York
The original word also said:
“You have brought ridicule and judgment upon yourselves, for my people flee from wickedness. I have sent a sign to them that they may depart from you and my presence be removed.”
I connected this language to the departures during COVID and to the renewed discussion of leaving New York surrounding Mamdani’s political rise. Those 2 settings require different kinds of evidence. Pandemic migration can be examined through population records. A declared intention to relocate, a business warning, and a completed move each establish something different.
New York City’s 2026 population study describes a long history of outward domestic migration and the demographic disruption of the pandemic. That broader history matters when interpreting departure figures. Reports of companies considering relocation under Mamdani give me developments to watch; the sources reviewed here do not establish a second citywide mass exodus caused by his election.
I continue to see departure as part of the warning. I want the record to show precisely which movements have occurred and which remain threatened or anticipated.
Sign 4: “A sign to your shores”
The shoreline passage is the central reason I am returning to this word:
“For I have even sent a sign to your shores to speak to you, Sand by the ocean erodes, but it is preserved in the wilderness”
“And how can what has been removed be replenished if it is not taken from somewhere else? But who else will give to you to replenish, since it quickly erodes?”
“So I shall do to you like what the sea does to the sand, for you have been like the sea eroding all I have sent. And see that I do not leave any foundation left, or else you may build up again.”
These words describe removal, replenishment, repeated loss, and the vulnerability of a foundation. That is why the condition of America’s beaches has my attention. The original warning addressed New York’s shores. I view California’s present crisis as a national warning that brings that language into sharper focus, while continuing to watch New York itself.
What has already happened in California
Reuters reported on September 25 that waves destroyed a Dana Point home and prompted evacuation or occupancy restrictions at 16 others. Its reporting also documented a Malibu sinkhole and the loss of sand at Tamarack Beach in Carlsbad. Offshore Pacific storms sent damaging swells toward California without making landfall there.
Those are concrete examples of damage already sustained. They give the article a factual starting point before we consider what autumn and winter may bring. A damaged shoreline enters the next period of high water with concerns that residents and officials are already confronting.
How a strong El Niño can worsen the conditions
El Niño changes the relationship between the tropical Pacific Ocean and the atmosphere. The immediate concern is how those changes interact with coastal water levels and winter weather.
In its September 10 assessment, NOAA forecast a greater than 90% chance of a very strong El Niño during the Northern Hemisphere fall and winter of 2026 into 2027. NOAA’s September 25 West Coast assessment likewise described the potential for an event among the strongest in the record extending back to 1950.
That supports concern about an exceptionally strong season. The final strength and local consequences are still developing. My video’s comparison with every event in modern history goes beyond what those assessments establish.
NOAA also distinguishes the existing marine heatwaves off California from the developing El Niño. Several processes can operate together. Keeping those processes clear helps explain how conditions can worsen without attributing every earlier coastal problem to a single cause.
Kelvin waves raise the starting level
The correct term is Kelvin waves. NOAA explains that changes in equatorial winds can send these disturbances eastward across the Pacific. When they reach the Americas, their effects can move north along the coast.
In its September 3 explanation, NOAA described sea level changes of approximately 6 inches that can be detected by tide gauges and satellites. The agency also noted that earlier Kelvin waves had reached California in May and June, with stronger effects anticipated later in the year.
The concern is a broad increase in coastal water level. Ordinary waves and high tides can then act upon that elevated baseline. A dramatic breaking wave is only one part of the hazard; the water level beneath it also matters.
I see the significance in this combination. The shore can face repeated pressure while conditions in the wider Pacific continue developing. That possibility deserves attention alongside the warning’s language about sand being removed and replenishment being lost again.
The coming king tide dates
The California Coastal Commission lists these statewide observation dates:
- November 24 through 26, 2026
- December 23 through 25, 2026
- January 21 through 22, 2027
Some northern locations also include December 22, January 20, or January 23. Local tide tables determine the relevant hours and heights.
King tides are the highest predicted tides of the year. The Commission specifically warns that El Niño, Kelvin waves, storms, and high surf can cause actual water levels to exceed tidal predictions. That is the convergence I am watching: elevated coastal water, exceptionally high astronomical tides, and the possibility of storms arriving together.
These dates identify periods to monitor. I have given no date for New York’s destruction, and a California tide calendar supplies none. The practical question is whether storms and higher water overlap at places already experiencing erosion.
Why I connect this to Revelation 18
My warning concerning New York has long been connected to my understanding of Babylon in Revelation 18. The chapter describes a city whose wealth draws merchants and maritime trade, followed by sudden judgment and the grief of those enriched through her. Those features are central to why I have applied the passage to New York.
In Revelation 18:4, the Word says, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” NKJV.
The command addresses participation in Babylon’s sins before the chapter describes the mourning over her fall. Its spiritual demand is immediate: God’s people must refuse the corruption that makes judgment necessary. Wealth, influence, and commercial importance offer no exemption from accountability.
My identification of New York with this warning is the prophetic perspective I am presenting. The scientific reports document coastal conditions. I believe their relationship to the shoreline language deserves serious consideration, particularly when viewed alongside the anniversary, the leadership issue, and departure from the city.
The response I am calling for
I believe the erosion sign is becoming more urgent, and I am asking America to pay attention. My purpose is to call people toward repentance and faith in Jesus Christ while there is opportunity to respond.
That response includes the obedience already named in the original word. Care for the hungry. Help the homeless. Pray for your neighbors and your enemies. Examine what you support, how you live, and whether your profession of faith is reflected in your actions.
For people along vulnerable coasts, take local warnings seriously and follow evacuation instructions when issued. Spiritual conviction and practical preparation can be exercised together.
I will continue watching actual shoreline damage, measured coastal water levels, the coming king tides, and developments in New York. I believe the 2019 warning remains relevant to what America is witnessing, and the words about the shores deserve to be heard again.
Video clarification: My spoken reference to a Category 6 hurricane should be corrected. The official Saffir-Simpson scale ends at Category 5. The documented coastal damage remains serious under the established classification system.
