I had a dream in which I saw a massive storm raging over the ocean. The waves were tossing and turning, lightning flashed across the sky, and thunder roared like the sound of war. As the storm began to take hold, I saw a tall, high tower rise at the very center of the storm. Picture a swirling hurricane — and at the eye of this hurricane stood the tower. On this tower stood people, and written on them was a single word: “Righteous.”
Then I saw the storm pull many people into it like a violent rip current. They were dragged in from every side, and the force of it was too strong for anyone to escape. And I saw the storm begin to reveal hearts. It turned good men evil… and evil men good. In the midst of the storm, I saw a woman, but she was not standing in it; she was the storm. She had the power to cause it and the power to pull people into it. And on her was written a word: “Vengeance.” Those who were pulled in could not save themselves, and those who stood on the tower could not save them either. No one could stop her.
Then I saw the hearts of men laid bare. Those whom the world had celebrated as “good” men who were favored, praised, and exalted turned evil in the storm. They clung to their wealth, refusing to let go, choosing to perish in their pride rather than surrender. But then I saw the others, the ones the world had rejected and called evil. In the final moment, their hearts changed. They let go of their wealth and gave it freely to those on the tower, to the righteous, just before the storm took them.
